Alright you beautiful bastards, it’s happening again. We’re getting on a plane, ignoring all our various ailments and wretched brain thoughts, and dragging our aging and decrepit bodies across the world to yell about Spider-Man or da Hulk in your pubs and venues. Plumbing the Death Star Cannot Die Tour. This is a threat and a promise.

We may not be the biggest podcast. Nor would we say we are the most successful podcast. We definitely aren’t clever, handsome, good looking or rich. The fact that any one of us (especially Jackson, but even more especially Duscher) have made it past 30 is truly surprising. Shows with better production, bigger budgets and considerably more talent have come and gone. And yet Plumbing the Death Star remain. We’ve outlasted Rooster Teeth, BuzzFeed, Vice, Gawker, College Humour and so many cinematic universes. You cannot kill us. After the BBC broadcasts reassuring government instructions and uplifting music, and as soon as the credits roll on The Sound of Music while the bombs drop, we will scuttle out from under the fridge like the cockroaches we are. Beautiful, resilient, ever lasting cockroaches. We will scuttle right out to three welcoming microphones, and you, our gorgeous audient.
Sep 2 – Glasgow at the Nice n Sleazy SOLD OUT. Look, we didn’t expect this either. Keep an eye on our socials in case anything opens up.
Sep 4 – Manchester at The Yard Grab tickets here.
Sep 5 – Leeds at The Wardrobe Grab tickets here.
Sep 6 – Nottingham at The Chapel in The Angel Microbrewery SOLD OUT. Yep, this one too. See below, we’ll let you know if anything changes.
Sep 7 – Birmingham at The Jam House Grab tickets here.
Sep 8 – Cardiff at The Globe Grab tickets here.
Sep 9 – Bristol at The Jam Jar SOLD OUT. A hat trick of sold out shows! Incredible, unexpected, a surprise for everyone! Thank you, we love you xx o
Sep 10 – London at The Social Grab tickets here. This one’s a smaller, more intimate room than the next London stop, so if you’ve ever wanted to be uncomfortably close to us, this is your night.
Sep 11 – London at 21 Soho Grab tickets here. This is the big room, so if intimacy grosses you out and you wish to be one of the unwashed masses, this is your night.
While Glasgow, Nottingham and Bristol are already sold out (which is genuinely wild to see but also very good for our fragile, fragile egos), keep an eye on our Instagram, the Facebook group, and the Sanspants+ Discord, because if extra tickets become a possibility, that’s where we’ll announce it first!
Nine shows in eight cities over ten days after twenty-three hours on a plane. This is what we were born to do. Come along, bring a friend who’s never listened. Make them regret it. Have them question your friendship. See you in soon.
