Canadian-born podcaster Steph Paige is a self-confessed travel freak. She has experienced life in almost every part of the globe with only the most extreme destinations left on her list. From the plateaus of South Africa to the hills of Ireland, Steph can’t get enough of the world’s beauty. In 2017, she decided it was time for a new city with new people and found herself migrating to Australia. Alone in a new part of the world, podcasts became a big part of Steph’s life so her podcasting adventure began and All The S**t I’ve Learned Abroad was born. Steph and longtime friend Andrea Gillis teamed up to not only relive their many travel memories, but also share firsthand wisdom. Together, the pair have years of travelling experience, from living with each other in London to spontaneously quitting their jobs and taking on Europe.
With the the success of All The S**t I’ve Learned Abroad, Steph’s favourite achievement comes in the form of inspiring listeners. Nothing makes her happier than a listener admitting they once lacked the confidence to jump on a plane and go explore, but thanks to Steph and co-host Andrea they now feel motivated to do exactly that. She claims that there is nothing more exciting than the thrill of new experiences. To her, travelling is a constant reminder that the world is full of good people no matter where you go. If she could leave listeners with just one thought, it is that people are capable of so much more than they imagine and that life is meant to be lived. Steph is a free spirit. She’s bold, adventurous and ready to take on anything; if asked “why?”, she simply asks “why not?”. When Steph’s not busy seeing the wonders of the world or hosting the podcast, she runs her own project and event management business, Project Refinery. Frankly at this point, it may be easier to list the things that she can’t do.
