Benjamin Riley is a Sydney-based journalist and podcaster, interested in queerness, masculinity, HIV, and continuing to expand his gratuitous collection of short shorts that leave nothing to the imagination.
Benjamin Riley started out as a journalist working in queer community press, covering state and federal politics, and has gone on to become a widely published freelance writer interested in queerness, masculinity and HIV. Benjamin has a decade of experience in queer community advocacy and activism, and currently works as a policy advocate for issues relating to HIV and sexual health. Much of his work has focused on queer politics and community building, through projects like his acclaimed podcast Queers, and his radical reading group, Queer Reading Group Sydney. Benjamin is also a researcher examining gay men’s relationships to the history of AIDS.
